Contemplating the influence of the male gaze and technology over the feminine and natural world, Same As Sister's Odd Jewels: Beauty Under Mask (Work-in-Progress) continues the collective's explorations in cross-disciplinary storytelling. Through a clash of manufactured images, sound and live bodies, the work questions the use of chronology and conflict in narrative to play with the necessity of structure and resolution in performance. The viewers are invited to enter a disparate landscape of dance and media to decipher the intersection of fiction and reality alongside the performers.
